Jude Fernando is a teacher of Life Education and Counselling at Maris Stella College in Negombo, Sri Lanka. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Kelaniya, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colombo, and a Higher Diploma in Family Counselling from the Sri Lanka Foundation Institution. He is an active member of the Marist Asia Conference and the Asia Marist Lay Commission. He has participated in the Marist International Lay Leaders Program held at the General House in Rome and in the joint formation program for Brothers and Laypeople at L’Hermitage, France. He has been collaborating closely with the Marist Brothers, both locally and globally, for over fifteen years.
