Br. Vanderlei Siqueira dos Santos was born on January 26, 1975, in São João (Paraná). He began his Marist life in 1991 at the Juvenate in Londrina, made his first vows in 1997, and his final vows in 2004. He holds degrees in Journalism, Pedagogy, and Theology, as well as a Master’s and Doctorate in Education, plus an MBA in Business Management and various specializations in educational management and Marist charism. He has held important roles in Marist education, including pastoral coordinator, school director, and executive director of the Basic Education Network of the Grupo Marista (2014–2022). Since 2015, he has been a member of the Provincial Council and the Board of Directors of Grupo Marista. In 2024, he was appointed Provincial of Brasil Centro-Sul (PMBCS) and since 2022 has been President of Grupo Marista. He has also served on the boards of UMBRASIL and the Marist Schools Network of the América Sur Region. Coming from a religious family, he cultivated his vocation since childhood and enjoys reading, music, photography, and sports. He considers himself a disciple of Champagnat and a guardian of a dream that goes beyond himself.
