Ana Isabel Saborío Jenkins, from Costa Rica, serves as Assistant Director of the Secretariat of Laity of the Marist Institute, affiliated with the Marist charism of the América Central Province. She has extensive experience in education, leadership, and lay coordination. She has held roles at Colegio Marista de Alajuela as teacher, secondary academic coordinator, and school director. She coordinates the Synchronous Virtual Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management in partnership with Marist University of Guadalajara and has participated in provincial commissions on laity and education. She is a member of the Virgen del Pilar Fraternity and serves as Provincial Coordinator of Laity for América Central. Her 28-year trajectory in pastoral work, education, and social initiatives reflects her commitment to Marist spirituality and the promotion of lay vocation.
