Bolivia - Santa María de los Andes
Br. Diego Rocha, from the Santa María de los Andes Province, was born on July 25, 1980, in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The second of five siblings, he completed his primary and secondary education at the Marist school in his hometown, where he got to know the Brothers and took part in pastoral groups. After earning a degree in Business Administration from UMSS, he entered the postulancy in 2006 and the novitiate in Cochabamba, professing his first vows in 2008. He has carried out his mission in various communities in Peru, Bolivia, and Chile, and earned a degree in Education from UMCH (Peru). He made his perpetual profession in 2021 and, in 2024, participated in the formators' course "Builders of a New Hermitage" in Manziana, Italy. He currently lives in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, in the Barriolindo community, where he serves as provincial councilor and community bursar, supporting various areas of the Marist mission in the country.
