Born on January 31, 1976, in San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, Br. Arnel currently serves as President of Notre Dame of Kidapawan College and of the Cotabato Province Private Schools Association (COPRISA). He is also Superintendent of the Marist Education System in the Philippines and a former member of the Board of the Marist International Network of Higher Institutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration (2022) from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, as well as a Master’s in Educational Administration (2012) and a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education, major in Religious Education (2001). He has served in various leadership roles within Marist institutions, including Director of Student Affairs at Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (2017–2020) and President of the National Religious Brothers Federation (2011–2014). Guided by the belief that “To educate children, I must love them equally with my undivided commitment and passion for educational leadership,” he strives to foster nurturing and inspiring learning environments. Outside of his professional work, he is passionate about aviation, technology, and multisport competitions, having completed triathlons and marathons both locally and internationally.
