Brother Mark Okolo Omede was born in 1973 in Agala Ateh, Kogi State, Nigeria. He joined the Marist Institute in 1998. He holds degrees in Religious Studies, Geography, and Missiology, as well as a Master’s and Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Planning. He has served as a teacher, director of religious education, dean of students, school principal, and the first registrar of the Marist Polytechnic in Enugu. He was also Assistant Director of the Secretariat of Education and Evangelization of the Institute in Rome. He currently serves as Provincial of Nigeria since January 2024.
