Br. Carlos Alberto Rojas, born in 1972 in Bogotá, Colombia, is a former student of Champagnat School in his hometown. He began his postulancy in 1989 in Popayán and did his novitiate in Medellín. He made his first vows in 1991 and perpetual profession in 1997. He holds a degree in Religious Sciences from the Pontifical University of Salamanca (Spain), in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and a Master’s in Disciplinary Development Studies from Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at PUC Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), researching global citizenship. He has served as educator, vice-principal, provincial coordinator of youth ministry, solidarity secretary, and delegate of the Provincial in Colombia. From 2016 to 2022, he was Director of the Secretariat for Education and Evangelization of the General Administration. Since June 2024, he has been the Provincial of Norandina and supports the Conference of Religious of Colombia as the second vice president.
