Br. Luis Roberto González González was born in Tepatitlán, Jalisco, Mexico. He began his vocational journey in his hometown, inspired by the testimony of Br. Pedro Soltero Santana. He entered the juniorate in Guadalajara and continued his formation in Monterrey and Morelia, where he made his first religious profession in 1993. He professed his perpetual vows in the year 2000. Throughout his Marist journey, he has served in various roles within the educational mission: as a teacher and coordinator in Monterrey and Tepic, and in leadership positions at the Marist schools in Mérida. From 2012 to 2015, he served as provincial bursar. In 2008, he participated in the Horizons Course in El Escorial (Spain), a key experience of formation and renewal. He was a member of the Provincial Council from 2018 to 2021. Since 2021, he has lived at the Casa Provincial in Guadalajara, where he serves as provincial councillor, viceprovincial, and head of the Education Sector, contributing his experience to the leadership of the Province of México Occidental.
