Br. Damiano Santo Forlani was born in 1969 in northern Italy, near Bergamo. He began his Marist formation at the age of ten, completing the typical stages of religious life within the congregation. He gained extensive teaching experience working in both primary and secondary schools. Over the past fifteen years, he has held various provincial leadership roles, including five years as the director of a Marist educational institution. His pastoral approach emphasizes intercultural dialogue and youth accompaniment, grounded in a practical and accessible spirituality. Key experiences in his ministry include a spirituality course in Guatemala (Caburus) and direct work with at-risk youth at national and international levels. He highly values teamwork and community life as fundamental to the Marist mission. Br. Damiano remains deeply committed to the institutional and pastoral growth of the Congregation, embracing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
