Brother Pablo González Franco was born in Spain on July 28, 1955. He completed his Marist formation at the Spanish-American Juniorate in Valladolid and Peñafiel. He made his first vows in 1975 and was assigned to Peru, where he continued his Marist and professional formation. He has worked as a teacher in schools and higher education, and was also in charge of the Scholasticate. He served as Provincial of Peru from 1999 to 2002. Since the creation of the Province of Santa María de los Andes, he has served as Mission Delegate in both Peru and Bolivia. Before being appointed Provincial in 2020, he was Rector of Marcellin Champagnat University in Lima. In 2024, he began his second term as Provincial of Santa María de los Andes.
