Born in 1980 in the USA, Br. Brian entered postulancy with the Marist Brothers in 2008 after earning a bachelor's degree in philosophy and spending five years working in mainland China with a for-profit English education company. As a brother, he has taught psychology and Chinese language, mostly within religion departments at Central Catholic High School near Boston and Mount Saint Michael Academy in New York, where he also served as campus minister. He professed final vows in 2016. After final profession, he earned a master's degree from Brandeis University in sustainable international development, including an internship in the Dominican Republic with an NGO focused on water and sanitation. Until recently, he served as vocation minister for the USA Province — a position held for six years. Since April 2025, he has served as Assistant Provincial and Provincial Councilor for the USA Province. In addition to his provincial roles, he served on the National Board of the National Religious Vocation Conference, chairing the Finance Advisory Committee. Since 2018, he has served the Institute on the Bedford Fund and since 2022 on Gier International Corporation. He was a member of the Preparatory Committee for the 23rd General Chapter. He currently resides at the Marist Brothers Center in Esopus.
