Br. Simon Kanjam was born in 1971 in Cameroon. He began his education in Njinikom and continued through CCAST Bambili. In 1996, while teaching at Jua Memorial College, he discovered his vocation and joined the Marist Brothers in 1997. He completed his novitiate in Ghana and a four-year scholasticate program in Nairobi. He has served in Ivory Coast, taught at St. Joseph’s College in Mbengwi, and worked for over a decade at St. Pius College in Tatum as bursar and teacher. In 2012, he briefly served at St. Albert’s Comprehensive College before returning to Tatum as head of both the Teacher Training College and the Secondary School. Since 2020, he has been District Bursar at the Marist Provincial Services in Accra, Ghana. In 2018, he earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management in Lebanon. He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French.
