Br. Cho Nchang, member of the Province of West Africa, was born on October 9, 1986, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He completed his primary and secondary education in Cameroon and is a former Marist student at St. Joseph’s Catholic Comprehensive College, Mbengwi, a diocesan school formerly administered by the Brothers. He began his Marist formation in 2006 as a postulant, completed his novitiate between 2007 and 2009, and continued at the scholasticate until 2013, earning a Diploma in Religious Studies and a Bachelor’s in Education. Between 2021 and 2023, he completed an MBA with a specialization in Finance. He has served in various Marist communities in the province: in Bouaké (2013–2021) as teacher, pastoral coordinator, and school bursar; in Accra (2021–2023) as bursar of the Provincial House; in Koumra (2023–2024) as community superior and religion teacher; and since 2024 in the Babenga-Douala community as teacher and school bursar. Since 2021, he has also served as the Provincial Delegate for Solidarity and published the province’s first Solidarity Annual Report in 2024. He is deeply grateful for his Marist vocation and the opportunity to accompany children and young people.
