Brother Michel was born in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo, on April 28, 1984. He entered the postulancy in Mwanza (Tanzania) in 2005. He then continued his formation at the novitiate in Save (Rwanda), where he made his first religious profession on June 15, 2008. His initial formation continued at the scholasticate in Nairobi, MIC, Kenya, from 2008 to 2012, followed by studies in economics. He made his final profession on August 10, 2014, in Bobandana, in the diocese of Goma. He has carried out various pastoral activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo: in Kindu, Bukavu, and Kinshasa, as Bursar of the community, school administrator, teacher, and animator of vocational and youth ministry. From 2015 to 2017, he continued his studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of ParanĂ¡ (PUCPR), Brazil Centro-Sul. Since 2017, he has been a member of the African Mission Commission and, since 2022, responsible for youth ministry in the Province of Afrique Centre-Est (PACE). From December 1, 2025, he will be a member of the Marist community of Notre-Dame de l'Hermitage, France.
