Br. Danilo Ferreira Silva, originally from Patos de Minas, Minas Gerais (Brazil), met the Marist Brothers in 2008 at the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Abadia. He began his vocational journey that same year and entered the pre-postulancy in 2010. He completed the postulancy in Londrina and Belo Horizonte, and the novitiate in Passo Fundo (2012–2013). From 2014 to 2016, he did his juniorate in Belo Horizonte, studying Theology and receiving formation in Marist Apostolic Spirituality and Heritage. In 2017, he was sent to Colatina (Espírito Santo), where he served as pastoral coordinator in two Marist schools. In 2019, he took on the same role in Aparecida de Goiânia (Goiás), during which time he earned a degree in History. From 2022 to 2024, he was the bursar and formator of the pre-postulancy community in Vila Velha (ES). Since 2025, he has been part of the juniorate formation community in Belo Horizonte, where he is pursuing a Master’s degree focused on Marist Apostolic Spirituality and the Synodal Church. He currently serves as Regional Advisor for Vocational Animation of the Marist Province Brasil Centro-Norte.
