Br. Emmanuel is a Zimbabwean National who was born on 11th March 1973. He is the fourth child in a family of ten children. His parents emigrated from Malawi. He joined the Marist Brothers in 1993 as a postulant in Malawi and enter the novitiate in Kutama, in 1994. He professed in the Institute in 1996 and continues his formation in Nairobi, at Marist International University College. In 1999 he finished the studies and was posted to Zimbabwe, where he taught for six years at Marist Brothers High School (Dete). In 2005, Br. Emmanuel was elected member of the Provincial Council of Southern Africa Province, the position he served for six years. While serving as a councillor he became an inaugural member of the African mission commission. He also served as community superior at Marist Brothers community in Dete and Marist House in Harare respectively. Br. Emmanuel studied Social Sciences in South Africa, form 2011, and in 2014 he followed a formators course at Manziana. Br. Emmanuel is now master of novices in Matola, Mozambique.
